Counteract does more than just balance the tire and wheel. Its unique technology balances the entire rotating assembly on the axle-end, including the brake drum and hub. It continuously readjusts itself while driving, correcting for new and changing out-of-balance conditions. Traditional wheel weights and machine balancing can’t do this.

By eliminating vibration at the axle-end, Counteract significantly reduces mechanical wear and lowers maintenance costs. Excessive vibration is a major cause of long-term maintenance issues. While traditional wheel balancing takes 10–12 minutes per tire, Counteract works as soon as the tire is mounted—no extra time required.

Proper balance also improves tire life. Counteract reduces rolling resistance by up to 18%, which helps prevent irregular wear. On average, Counteract extends tire life by at least 30%—and in many cases, it doubles it.

Counteract also helps reduce tire operating temperature by up to 63°F. Lower heat means less thermal degradation, helping preserve the tire casing for retreading. It’s an environmentally friendly solution made from 99.9% recycled tempered glass with a moisture-resistant coating. Unlike lead wheel weights that sometimes fall off and harm the environment, Counteract stays inside the tire for its entire life.

In over 27 years, with tens of millions of complete wheel assemblies balanced using Counteract, there has never been a single tire warranty issue reported. Once installed, there’s no need to re-balance.
