Counteract – How it Works

Counteract Balancing Beads are distributed around the tyre as it begins to roll, through centrifugal force. As the the forces of an imbalanced wheel assembly increase with speed, the heavy spot pulls up and down on the suspension, forcing Counteract to shift and alter its position within the tyre, through inertia. The beads continue to migrate through inertia, until there is enough of them on the opposite side of the heavy spot to counteract the imbalance of the tyre. Counteract will also adjust its position on the fly as needed when new changing tyre conditions force the product to do so.

There is a marked increase in fuel consumption over 55 mph which is to a great extent, caused by a resonating suspension synchronizing with an out of balance wheel assembly. Reduce vibration

There is more to balance than just the rubber and the rim. This technology addresses all out of balance possibilities including being able to re-balance on the fly! If you pick up some dirt on your wheel, or rub a curb and the rim and rubber don’t match up to the same spot, usually you have to go back into the shop and have those tires re-balanced on those rims. Not with Counteract! The out of balance vibration will cause the beads to migrate within the tire, fixing it constantly, every time you ride!
