Factors Affecting the Amount of Balancing Beads
One important thing to note is that Counteract Beads balance the entire rotating wheel assembly, not just the tire and wheel like traditional weights. For dual wheel assemblies, we recommend adding an extra 2 ounces of Counteract beads to account for the additional weight. Additionally, for off-road mud terrain and all-terrain tires, we may suggest doubling the amount recommended by the 13-pound equation. These tires have a greater imbalance compared to highway tread tires.
